    Working in teams is essential for the provision of safe, effective and person-centred care. Teams are complex and you may be confident contributing in some ways but not in others. Focus on areas you feel you need to develop e.g. you may feel confident working in a team with your immediate work colleagues, but not in working with teams with other disciplines or agencies. This unit contains activities covering a wide range of issues that you will encounter in practice and that you will find easier to deal with if you have thought about them beforehand.
