The 10 Concluding Activities are designed to support reflective practice in each of the ten learning units. You must complete all 10 Concluding Activities to evidence you have completed the Flying Start NHS programme. As you complete the units, you are creating your evidence to support your NHS KSF interim and Joint Development Review.
The aim of this learning unit is to support your ability to demonstrate how you apply clinical skills in a range of settings of increasing complexity.
This concluding activity requires you to reflect on your overall learning within this unit, and how much you have developed as a practitioner in your first year in NHSScotland. Write a portfolio entry which demonstrates your ability to:
- apply these clinical skills to increasingly complex situations within practice and critically appraise your practice
- identify and critically evaluate the clinical skills you and others contribute to the provision of care
- identify and critically appraise your continuing learning needs in relation to clinical skill development
- apply and criticality evaluate an evidence-based approach to your clinical skill development
You will undoubtedly have identified future learning needs, and these should be taken forward within your NHS KSF development review and PDP.
